Service Description
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha • Transfer: Kilimanjaro International Airport → Siringit Villa (approx. 1-hour drive) • Highlights: Leisurely afternoon, optional Arusha town visit, or simply relax by the pool/gardens. • Overnight: Siringit Villa Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park • Drive: After breakfast, depart for Tarangire (approx. 2.5–3 hours). • Highlights: Afternoon game drive amid baobab trees and large elephant herds. • Overnight: Elephant Springs Day 3: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park • Morning Game Drive: Spot lions, zebras, and giraffes in Tarangire. • Transfer: Drive or short flight to Serengeti (5–6 hours by road or approx. 1-hour flight). • Highlights: Introduction to the vast plains of the Serengeti, possible sightings of big cats. • Overnight: Serengeti Sametu Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti • Game Drives: Early morning and late afternoon to catch predators and herbivores at their most active. • Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost). • Overnight: Serengeti Sametu Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area • Morning Game Drive: Last chance for Serengeti sightings. • Transfer: Approx. 3–4 hours to Ngorongoro. • Highlights: Scenic highland vistas, evening relaxation at camp. • Overnight: Lion’s Paw Camp Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration • Early Descent: Explore the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and more. • Picnic Lunch: Near hippo pools. • Optional: Maasai cultural visit. • Overnight: Lion’s Paw Camp Day 7: Ngorongoro → Zanzibar • Transfer: Drive to Arusha for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. • Arrival in Zanzibar: Check into Bamboo Zanzibar, located on a pristine beach. • Overnight: Bamboo Zanzibar Day 8–9: Zanzibar Beach Stay • Relaxation & Activities: Enjoy sunbathing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or cultural tours of Stone Town. • Evenings: Indulge in fresh seafood dinners and tropical sundowners. • Overnight: Bamboo Zanzibar Day 10: Departure • Final Morning: Leisurely breakfast by the ocean. • Transfer: To Zanzibar International Airport for onward flights. Cancellation Policy
Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy for Sail Adventure Safaris To ensure a seamless and transparent experience, our payment terms and cancellation policies are designed to adhere to international travel standards and safeguard the interests of both clients and service providers. Payment Terms 1. Deposit Payment: • A 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required to confirm your booking. This deposit secures your accommodations, safari permits, park fees, and other services. • For specialised packages, such as Kilimanjaro climbing permits or gorilla trekking permits, chimp trekking permits, a 75% deposit is required as these permits are limited and non-refundable by issuing authorities. 2. Final Payment: • The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the start date of your trip. • For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking to ensure all services are secured on time. 3. Payment Methods: • Payments can be made via international bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. Please note that any associated transaction or bank fees are the responsibility of the client. • All payments must be made in USD or an agreed equivalent currency. 4. Booking Confirmation: • Your booking is considered confirmed once the deposit (or full payment for late bookings) is received and you receive a written acknowledgment from Sail Adventure Safaris. 5. Non-Refundable Items: • Gorilla permits, Kilimanjaro permits, and any flight tickets booked on your behalf are strictly non-refundable, as per local regulations in East Africa. Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellations by the Client: • More than 60 days before departure: The deposit will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative fee and any non-refundable costs incurred, such as permits and third-party fees. • 31-60 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded, excluding non-refundable costs. • 30 days or less before departure: No refund will be issued due to the inability to resell services such as accommodations and permits on short notice. 2. Cancellations by Sail Adventure Safaris: • If Sail Adventure Safaris cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., operational challenges), you will receive a full refund, excluding non-refundable permits or third-party costs. • Alternatively, we will offer to reschedule your trip to a later date at no additional cost, subject to availability. 3.
